Montague Day!

Please come out on Sept. 12th - starting at 11am, to enjoy a wide array of activities and to meet your neighbors involved with our local groups and organizations, enjoy food and entertainment, tour historic Montague via photographs .. and have lots of fun!

Municipal Building as shown in Montague Elementary's Yearbook of 1989!

Some residents may not know that prior to its current location, Montague Township offices had briefly been located at the building now used by Hinkley Auto. Prior to that, the town had used a trailer located on the elementary school grounds. At that time, and prior to that, most township employees worked out of their own homes. Meetings had been held at the school, and at the Grange Building and other gathering spaces in town - in the past.

Mark you calendars for the special township celebration : MONTAGUE DAY will be held at the grounds of the Township's Municipal Building Sat., Sept. 12th! All Montague residents are invited !

Congratulations to our own Miss Montague, Rachel Thompson, for being picked as the first runner-up to the 2009 Queen of the Fair!
