Milford-Montague Bridge
Rededicated

July 21, 2009

Originally opened on Dec. 30, 1953, the Milford-Montague Bridge was rededicated upon the completion of it most recent major rehabilitation project. A video clip covering the event was shown on that evening's NJN News broadcast. Both the opera singer, who sang the National Anthem, and the antique car and its owner hail from Montague. .. as does the 2nd Vice Commander of American Legion Post 139.

Gathering Info to Piece the Missing Portions from our Past

Much has changed over the years on Montague's landscape.
We welcome receiving copies of photographs or images that show sites or homes that may no longer exist to help document what was here - and to be able to tell of the people who resided at these sites.
This postcard shows "Belvedere Cottage". Anyone who can identify where it was.. please get in touch.
